Air Jordan 8 (VIII)
The Air Jordan 8 was originally released in 1993 and soon after became one of the most famous Air Jordan shoes available. The two cross-straps, or bunny ears, over the laces make this shoe immediately recognizable as an Air Jordan 8. The typical exposed stitching and the textured patterns, including a set of ridges up the back side of this model make this shoe highly sought after among the sneaker connoisseurs. Three different versions or colorways of the Air Jordan 8 were released on its original debut. The colorways included Home, which were white black and red, the Aqua, black and blue, and the Playoff, which were just black and red.
It is the first of the models to not include the Nike logo as per request of Tinker Hatfeild. Michael Jordan also famously wore these sneakers during a number of winning games, making the Jordan 8s highly sought after by die hard fans. Nike retro-released the shoe again in 2003 and then again in 2007. During these subsequent retro runs, the Aqua and the Playoff made anticipated comebacks in more color options then ever before. The popularity of these colorways inspired another return in 2013, 2015, and in 2016 and 2017 for Nike’s 20th anniversary celebration. Now Kickscraze offers you great deals on these classic shoes.
